Route 101 Motorsports is committed to providing meticulously maintained motorcycles, ensuring each bike in our fleet is serviced to the highest standards by professionally certified mechanics for a smooth, safe ride. However, mechanical issues, while rare, can occur, and road hazards are an inherent part of motorcycle journeys—especially on long rides through diverse terrain, rural highways, and scenic routes that may not always be in perfect condition.
ProtectionONE is our base coverage option, ensuring that unexpected roadside issues don’t disrupt your ride. From flat tires to mechanical failures, this plan offers the reassurance and support needed for your journey.
- Flat Tire Protection
- What’s Covered: All repair and labor costs for flat tires, with no deductible.
- Towing Assistance: Includes towing up to $50 per occurrence to the nearest repair facility or back to the Route 101 office, ensuring prompt assistance with minimal delay.
- Mechanical Failure Coverage
- What’s Covered: Full coverage for verified mechanical failures impacting operability, including towing and repair expenses.
- Replacement Option: When possible, Route 101 may offer a replacement motorcycle to keep you on your journey, subject to availability and distance from Route 101 locations.
- Responsibility for Towing Costs: The renter initially covers towing costs to the agreed service location (Route 101 or the nearest repair facility). If a mechanical issue is confirmed upon inspection, Route 101 will reimburse these costs. If no issue is found, the renter is responsible for all incurred expenses.
- Roadside Assistance
- What’s Covered: Emergency assistance for minor mechanical repairs, battery issues, and minor tire repairs, with towing covered up to $50 per occurrence. The renter is responsible for any additional costs beyond this limit.
- Travel Continuation Benefit
- What’s Covered: If a verified mechanical issue delays your ride for more than 12 hours, Route 101 will refund the daily rental rate for affected days. Alternate transportation coverage is not included in this plan.
